The Yours & Owls Festival is the flagship event for Yours & Owls. It’s an annual festival held on the October long weekend on the shores of North Wollongong Beach. This year, it will be taking place on January 23 and 24 2021.
The Local joined the ranks in 2017 and each year has grown in calibre and size. The Local is dedicated to showcasing and celebrating local creative talent. Participating artists and crews can perform, run workshops, have a stall or install artworks.

We want to know your connection to the Illawarra, maybe you operate here, maybe you started here or maybe your project responds to something iconically ‘Wollongong’
We have a $10,000 funding pool and suggest your proposal be for $500 – $1500
We encourage collaboration and experimentation

Our band Cherry MaMalade are local and would love the opportunity to perform. We may be of mature age, but we are very accomplished muso’s. Lead singer Jackee B is our singer songwriter who will take you on an unforgettable journey as well as make you dance your ass off!!!
