STEVE HUGHES Australian Comedy Legend

STEVE HUGHES Australian Comedy Legend

To Perform at Dicey Rileys Wollongong Thursday March 27

March 12, 2025

In the final days of 2024, Australian comedy legend Steve Hughes underwent major open heart surgery.

Feeling a bit off one day in early November, Steve thought it best to check into a Sydney hospital to be on the safe side. Lucky he did –  just days later he was operated on to have a worn out valve replaced.

The operation was a success, Steve has been recovering and is now ready to get back on the stage! In addition to his March dates across NSW, Steve has confirmed NINE shows at the Adelaide Fringe!

Known the world over for his hard hitting, take no prisoners comedy.
Hughes always tells it like it is – at times confronting, always engaging and to some even a little alarming. Steve’s wit is as razor sharp as ever, he might make you think, but he will always make you laugh!

The issues Steve addressed over a decade ago regarding the direction the world was heading in were simply brushed off as conspiracy theory. Today many of those issues are fact.
He did warn you and things are only getting more outrageous…

Steve Hughes Live may not be a show for the professionally offended, but if you have a damn good sense of humour then strap in for the ride of your life!

A comedy veteran of over 20 years. Steve Hughes has appeared on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (UK), Live at the Apollo (UK) and performed in nearly 30 countries to rave reviews.
