Sydney-based artist Nathan Cavaleri is one of the many affected by COVID19. Whilst plans to play Byron Bay BluesFest and support Jeff Martin (The Tea Party) on his national tour were cancelled, Nathan continues to connect with followers by releasing his latest single, “Castles In The Sky” – A “summery” indie road trip track that kicked off every performance on his 2019 Australian tour which included Caloundra Music Festival.
Predominantly influenced by indie aspects of Paolo Nutini, Broken Bells & Lana Del Rey, the track is brought together by the retro bluesy guitar tones often heard on Bowie/Springsteen tracks and familiar to all Nathan Cavaleri fans.

Nathan talks about the decision to produce, engineer and mix ‘Castles In The Sky’ himself:
“Demo love” is a real thing often brought on by allowing the pressures of creating a “release worthy” song to compromise the fun and spontaneity throughout the “real” recording process. With a demo making mindset and record making skillset, I decided to listen to my industry friends and put my production and mix engineer skills to the test. I loved every moment and hopefully it shows in the recording”.
Previous EP “Demons” was embraced by Spotify and the likes of Triple J, Double J, Triple M, ABC Local Radio, San FM, Joy FM, RTR FM, Radio Adelaide, 4ZZZ, 979FM, Bay FM, Edge FM, 2XX FM, The Pulse amongst others. The tracks also received support from many Australian blogs.
