chart success and CMT debut with new single

Since the release of their latest single ‘Not Ready (To Leave Just Yet)’ on August 7th, international duo Leaving Lennox have made their Australian commercial radio debut.

“Not Ready” charted at #16 on the KIX Country Charts, while also gaining the duo their Television Debut on CMT Australia. The accompanying music video was played on National Television for the first time in October and has been added to CMT’s regular rotation.

The song has received airplay on some of the nation’s biggest commercial radio networks, including Triple M and has skyrocketed their Spotify Streams to over 150K.

Co-produced by Aaron Sterling (touring drummer for John Mayer), the release features acclaimed Nashville musicians, David Levita (touring guitarist for Tim McGraw) and Eric Fortaleza, (touring bassist for Lindsay Ell).

In October, the pair performed an acoustic version of the song on KIX Live, alongside Aria and CMC Nominated artist, Jasmine Rae and upcoming New Zealand Country Artist, Abby Christo.

“Not Ready” features as Countrytown’s “Song of the Day” and in the November/December edition of Country Music Capital News amongst artists such as Luke Combs.

In May of 2020, the singer/songwriter duo was successful in a grant from the Australia Council for the Arts, awarded to a selective group of industry professionals.

In addition to this, Leaving Lennox were nominated for 2020 Duo of the year and 2020 entertainer of the year in the Tennessee-based JMA’s. To conclude their year, the duos debut single “Old Love”, was recently announced as a top 30 finalist in the Australian Songwriting Contest.
