Renowned Australian guitarist Jeff Lang has built a reputation for making startling music and he is bringing his accomplished, intricate, gutsy, melodic and soulful style to The Music Lounge this Saturday.
Jeff is not one to be easily defined, though it’s fair to say he largely trades in roots-oriented rock. He has shared the stage with a legion of names including Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, Ani Di Franco, Chris Whitley, John Butler and Bob Geldolf, among many others.
Constantly evolving, Jeff recently opened up a vault of music and content exclusively to his fans via a Patreon Page. Jeff decided to see if he could use the site to essentially run like an independent record shop, where fans gain access to unreleased and unheard music – album outtakes, demo versions and live recordings.
“I love the idea of being able to make this stuff available directly to people who like what I do” says Jeff, “It’s the sort of thing I’d LOVE to have available from any artist I dig.”
