Following the release of the once-seen-never-unseen video for latest single “Apartment For Two” and the completion of their 20th European tour, The Hard-Ons today release their 14th studio album Ripper ’23 as well as the new single from the album, “Sling Shot”.
Sean St Leone had a chat with Bass player Ray Ahn about the new album, tour – including 30th June at La La Las – and all things Hard-Ons.

Ray – “We knew that we were a dog’s breakfast of a band in terms of how varied our sound was and that’s what Ripper ’23 is, it reflects the idea that our band doesn’t have one uniform sound, but lots of different sounds that somehow all kind of ties in together in a way, you know, like those compilation albums. That’s why we went with that idea for the title and album cover.”
Sean – “I gotta ask, who’s bum is that on the album cover…?”
