October 16, 2019
There’s less than 8 weeks to go until Fairgrounds Festival returns for its momentous fifth year in Berry NSW, just a little south of Sydney. The perfect musical and culinary retreat to start your summer, the festival today announces another host of international and local additions that will join the stacked line-up.
Fairgrounds welcomes…
GERRY CINNAMON
ADAM GIBSON AND THE AERIAL MAPS · ANDY GOLLEDGE
ANNIE HAMILTON · ELECTRIC GINGER · LENKA ·
YOUNG HENRYS presents THE PINHEADS
They join an already stacked line-up including former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, DMA’S, Dope Lemon, Meg Mac, Kasey Chambers, Julia Jacklin, The Lemonheads and more.
Watch Gerry Cinnamon – Sometimes
With no hype machine, singer-songwriter Gerry Cinnamon has achieved record breaking success and cemented his status as Scotland’s most successful independent artist and a cult hero force to be reckoned with.
A true story teller, Cinnamon’s music crosses generations in a way that only a handful of artists can. His debut album ‘Erratic Cinematic’ rocketed to the top of the charts on release and again after massive performances at this year’s Glastonbury and a co-headlining spot at TRNSMT.
Visiting Australia for the first-time, Cinnamon will take leave from supporting Liam Gallagher on his national Champagne Supernova rollercoaster to head to Berry, giving Fairgrounds a taste of his deep Glaswegian brogue and inimitable live show.
Young Henrys Secret Act is revealed… Wollongong band The Pinheads reside within a stylistic purgatory – too weird for punk, too free-form for garage rock, too genre-defiant for rock & roll. With their second album ‘Is This Real’ on the set list and countless live shows behind them, you can join The Pinheads on their path across the music spectrum at Fairgrounds 2019!
Fairgrounds is also proud to welcome a pair of hometown heroes to its intimate Windmill Stage. Singer-songwriter and Berry-local Lenka, formerly of the band Decoder Ring, has been releasing solo albums and touring worldwide for the last decade.
Electric Ginger is singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Greg Townley. Based in Jaspers Brush NSW, his sassy synth stylings, cheeky electro bangers and guitar infused nineties pop have made him a thing of South Coast legend.
They’ll be joined by Sydney troubadour Andy Golledge, the ethereal vocals of Annie Hamilton, and the unique take on Australian lives and landscape of Adam Gibson and The Aerial Maps.
