Music industry charity, Support Act, is thrilled with the response to this week’s Ausmusic T-Shirt Day with over 170 promoters, record companies, venues, fan clubs, corporations and artists pledging support to raise funds for music workers who are doing it tough.
Last year’s event smashed its original target raising $110,000 and Support Act is hoping that the same will happen again this year.
There is still time to show how much Australian music means to you, and make a real difference to people in need. Just visit the Ausmusic T-Shirt Day website to make a donation or create a team and then post and share pics using the tags #ausmusictshirtday, @supportact, @triplej, @aria_official.
