Continuing to demonstrate versatility and a knack for constructing immersive, dreamy indie soundscapes, Sydney artist ILUKA returns with a bright new single in ‘Fall Apart Again’.
Another stride forward from the songwriter and musician for 2019, ‘Fall Apart Again’ is ILUKA at her melodic best. Combining soaring guitars with airy synths, leaving her vocal to charge forward and shine, ILUKA shimmers on the track as she navigates a narrative built on an emotional tug o’ war.
A compelling vocalist with a captivating live presence to match, the last year has been a busy one for ILUKA.
First taking out Triple J Unearthed’s competition to support The Rubens on their 2018 tour, then enjoying the release of her dynamic single ‘Closer To You’ earlier in 2019 and supporting the likes of Alex Lahey and Lime Cordiale, retro-pop met a fresh take on contemporary indie sounds as ILUKA properly hit her stride.
