Darlinghurst Theatre Company’s production of Once is playing at Merrigong Theatre Company 24 – 28 July starring Toby Francis (Kinky Boots), Stefanie Caccamo (Beautiful) and Cameron Daddo (The Sound of Music).
Directed by Richard Carroll Once is based on the movie of the same name by John Carney and features a spell-binding score by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, including their Oscar-winning song Falling Slowly.
Original and unforgettable, Once draws you in from the very first note, grabs you by the heart strings and never lets go. Once is the only Broadway show to have music that won the Academy Award, Grammy Award, Olivier Award and Tony Award.
“Once truly is a unique and exceptional musical. Like so much great art it’s an intimate story about two very specific people, which has affected millions all over the world because it’s so truthfully told. And there’s no more universal language than the language of music.” Director Richard Carrol
