Melbourne’s BLKLST have dropped their brand new EP Spider Love! It is available now at https://ffm.to/blklst_spiderloveep. Adding to that, there is also more to celebrate – they are heading out on the road alongside their pals Pridelands on three dates of their ‘Dark Sources’ tour in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne!
Friday June 21 sees BLKLST joining Pridelands in Brisbane at Crowbar, Saturday June 22 in Sydney at the Chippendale Hotel and then in Melbourne on Friday June 28 at Stay Gold!
‘Spider Love’ was produced at STL Studios by Evan Lee with additional engineering by Sonny Truelove, and mixed and mastered by Evan Lee and Ash Daws at THE LOUD NOISE ESTATE. The EP itself is the result of material written and produced over the last two years and centers itself around the theme of letting something you love consume you.

BLKLST was formed in 2015 and have made their mark quick off the bat. Establishing themselves in the heavy music scene with a crushing live show and a decimatingly heavy sound, the band quickly chalked up supports with bands such as, Make Them Suffer, Deez Nuts, Alpha Wolf, Earth Caller and Justice for The Damned and interstate runs with 36 Crazyfists, Superheist and Boris The Blade.
The band has found themselves placed in Spotify playlists including New Metal Tracks, Homegrown & Heavy and Rock Out, International Amazon Music playlist Metal Forge and Apple Music’s Heaps Heavy playlist, spun on triple j’s The Racket and Short.Fast.Loud, added to rotation on The Faction Radio, added to Spotify Official’s Homegrown and Heavy playlist and the clip was played on Rage!
