The squad behind your favourite Steel City festival Yours and Owls, are excited to present the latest edition to their festival family, Lazy Mountain Music & Arts Festival, an all-ages event rolling out Easter Saturday in the lush surrounds of the Berry Showgrounds on the NSW South Coast.

Launching the inaugural year with two of Australia’s finest, most successful and hardest working musical exports, overachieving multi-platinum selling, multiple ARIA and 2022 J Award winners Gang of Youths and superhuman multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter Tash Sultana, Sydney indie pop rock sweethearts Middle Kids, Melbourne indie punk rockers Slowly Slowly, Wollongong born, South Coast raised singer-songwriter Tyne James Organ, Snowy Mountains, via Beijing, via Thailand rapidly rising future of pop Merci, Mercy and Wollongong indie folk rock sensation Aodhan. 

Lazy by name, lazy by nature, Lazy Mountain Music & Arts Festival is for music luvahs who want all of the amusement of a music festival without having to exert all that sweaty, stressy, set time clashing effort!

Gang Of Youths spent the winter of 2022 at home completing an enormous tour that saw them fill arenas across the country to celebrate the release of their third studio LP, ‘Angel In Realtime’. Multiple ARIA #1’s, a slew of major festival slots and appearances on Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Late Night With Seth Myers, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel Live, Gang Of Youths are going to bring some of that global glamour to Berry this Easter!

Gender-fluid, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer and engineer Tash Sultana picked up their first guitar at the age of three! Their story of evolution from street busking in Melbourne to viral internet sensation is one of legend. Multi-platinum selling, ARIA Award-winning, J Award-winning sensation is a favourite of festival crowds across the globe.

Middle Kids sprung out of the streets of Sydney with a glowing review of their debut single ‘Edge Of Town’ from Sir Elton John and never looked back. They have played for Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Late Show with James Corden and The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Scooped up an ARIA Award, a J Award, two LP’s a bunch of hit singles, sold-out international and local tours later, we get their dreamy indie pop to soundtrack Lazy Mountain this Easter.

And of course, Slowly Slowly, Tyne James Organ, Merci, Mercy and Aodhan, round out the musical offering.  

One of the most stunning and frequented holiday spots on the NSW South Coast, Berry is a headliner all on her own. Offering a plethora of things to do and places to visit, the surrounding region is a foodie heaven with plenty of incredible places to nosh.
