July 20, 2020
Better Noise Music kickstarted the northern summer with a virtual music festival that featured some of the biggest names in rock music today.
On Friday, July 17 despite being free to watch, viewers of the event raised much-needed funds for the Global Recovery Initiatives Foundation (GRI) to provide critical support services for those in early recovery from substance use disorder.
The festival opened with a heartfelt message from Bad Wolves front man Tommy Vext describing his childhood and addiction and outlining the charity element to the festival.
Better Noise Music roster all supported the event with musical performances by label heavy weights MÖTLEY CRUE, THE HU, AWOLNATION, FROM ASHES TO NEW, PAPA ROACH, DIRTY HEADS, CORY MARKS and many more.
Viewers also got the exclusive first-look at the trailer for the Better Noise Film, SNO BABIES, slated for a September 29 release. The film speaks to the same crisis addressed by The Global Recovery Initiatives Foundation – the Opioid crisis and recovery assistance from substance use disorders.
Tommy Lee, surprised fans with an announcement that he is to cameo in a forthcoming thriller / horror movie called ‘The Retaliators’ coming late 2020.

Ivan Moody, and Zoltan Bathory of Five Finger Death Punch starred in comedy skits where Ivan asked Zoltan to teach him the guitar, so Zoltan put him through a drill sergeant meets Karate Kid montage of how to pose, talk and move around the stage like a rock guitarist without ever teaching him how to actually play.
On the YouTube stream chat sidebar, fans got to interact with artists participating in the festival, such as Papa Roach, Hyro The Hero and Thousand Thoughts. Over on the Facebook stream replying to viewers were Eva Under Fire and All Good Things.
Midpoint in the festival The Retaliators film trailer debuted and broke the news on Tommy Lee, Jacoby Shaddix, Five Finger Death Punch, Amanda from Eva Under Fire, Craig Mabbitt from Escape The Fate and From Ashes To New all acting in the movie!
The show is now available to watch on demand on YouTube and funds can still be donated through Global Recovery Initiatives Foundation
In celebration of this event, Better Noise Music artists’ catalogs are on sale via Apple Music and Amazon Music worldwide from July 10 through July 23rd. Discounted Albums and Band merchandise can also be purchased at the Better Noise Music online stores…
